Library markings include a book plate on the front paste down, a classification number on the verso of the first free end page, a stamp on the recto of the frontispiece page, an embossed stamp and rubber stamp on the title page and notations at the upper edge of the limitation page and a date stamp and library pocket on the rear end sheets. Without a dust jacket. Signed by the author and numbered 225 of an unknown number of limited edition copies published. 190 pages of text followed by an appendix and an index. Illustrated with a color frontispiece plate and 24 plates two of which are in color and numerous line drawing vignettes .

In a very good+, unclipped dust jacket with a 1/4" chip at top edge of the spine area and with very light soiling to the panels. Reportedly, only 1,165 copies of this title were sold by the publisher. 260 pages of text illustrated by Booth Tarkington.
